Civil Engineering Project Manager (Land Development)

Trevet is a civil and environmental consulting firm established in 2005, San Diego, CA. Our team of geologists, engineers, and scientists primarily supports the Federal Government at numerous military installations throughout the country. Trevet’s Engineering Division is seeking an experienced Land Development Project Manager/Civil Engineer to support a diverse portfolio of design and design/build projects.

Our civil engineering team is a small group of dedicated engineers who strive for outstanding customer service while ensuring project success. The position requires an experienced “hands on” project manager with a sense of entrepreneurship, exceptional technical and adept communication skills, a genuinely optimistic attitude, and an advocate for Trevet’s outstanding reputation. Other requirements include:

  • Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering.
  • California Professional Engineering License.
  • CASQA QSP/QSD certifications.
  • Strong background in land development with preparation of grading & drainage plans in AutoCAD Civil 3D, hydrology reports, and SWPPPs.
  • 6 to 10 years of civil engineering project experience with increasing responsibilities including managing projects, team coordination, employee mentoring/training, industry networking, and client interaction.
  • Ability to work well in a small group and self perform/juggle multiple, diverse tasks common to a small business.
  • Strong analytical and technical problem solving skills with the ability to communicate solutions concisely and confidently.
  • Verbal and written communication skills to engage and encourage effective interactions with people from diverse technical backgrounds.
  • Creating budgets, schedules, task delegation, presentations, and proposals.
  • Experience completing projects for local and federal government agencies.
  • Availability for travel to project sites.
