Helicopter Fuel Pod Release Investigation, Bridgeport, CA.

TREVET responded to JP-8 fuel in an alpine meadow at 9,500 feet elevation resulting from the in-flight release of fuel pods. An investigation and clean up of impacted soil was planned and executed within 65 days, including the site characterization following Marine Corps emergency response, removal of 450 cubic yards of soil, and remobilization to excavate an additional 950 cubic yards of soil.
