Munitions Response Program Investigations, Naval Base Coronado Complex, CA.

TREVET conducted site inspections and remedial investigations of past munitions use and dredge soils from San Diego Bay suspected of containing munitions and explosives of concern and munitions debris. MD. The dredge material is located at the site of a pre-WWII bombing range, also currently known as the Weapons Area. Work performed included endangered and special status species surveys and protection, field investigations, unexploded ordnance surveys, and munitions constituents assessment for metals and explosives, human health and ecological risk assessment, data evaluations, design engineering controls design to reduce explosive arcs, regulatory interaction, and reporting.
